June 1 - 4 & 8-10

8:00 pm. Steel Magnolias, a play about six wonderful women who move us to
laughter and tears at Gastonia’s Little Theater. Call the LTG Box Office for tickets

June 24 7:00 p.m. 

POPS in the PARK, an outdoor concert featuring the Western Piedmont
Symphony at the Gaston County Park – Dallas. Cost: $5.00, parking fee. Bring
blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic supper or purchase food from vendors on site. 
Brought to the community by Gaston County Parks & Recreation and the United Arts

Sept. 9 10:00 until 2:00

Open House at the Hoyle Historic Homestead, Come to Gaston
County’s oldest home located on the Dallas Stanley Hwy. for a fun-filled day of
history, crafts, guest speakers and BBQ. No entrance fee.

 

Oct. 19-28  8:00 p.m. 

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a delightful play for young and old at
Gastonia’s Little Theater. Some matinees may be offered.

Dec. 2  8:00 p.m.

Sixth Annual Holiday Concert featuring the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra
at Unity Place Auditorium hosted by The United Arts Council of Gaston County. This
year, reserved seating on main floor of auditorium will be available for slightly higher
charge. Tickets go on sale in November. Call (704) 853-ARTS for more information.
