Gaston Dance Theater:

Gaston Dance Theatre will be presenting "Peter and the Wolf" along with selections from Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals" May 2-4. Student performances will be Friday May 2; performances on Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4 will be open to the public. Saturday evening performance will be at 7:00. Sunday matinee is at 2:30. For the public performances Gaston Dance will be joined by dancers from Greensboro Ballet. All performances are in the Pamela Kimbrell Warlick Performing Arts Center at Gaston Day School. General admission tickets are $5. .

The School of Gaston Dance Theatre is offering summer dance camps and classes. We are once again partnering with Gaston School of the Arts with the popular "First Taste of the Arts" program. In this program for preschoolers ages 3-4 children will have drama, music and art, as well as dance and movement for restless little feet. These camps will be taught at the Gaston School of the Arts facility on Union Road. In our studios at Unity Place we will be offering Fairy Tale Ballet camps for ages 5-7, as well as Ballet, Jazz and Tap for ages 8 and up.
